Our Mission

Together with the local communities, develop and drive initiatives that make a lasting contribution to improving the living conditions and education of under-privileged children, young adults and their communities in African developing countries.
Opportunities for future generations

Our Vision

We aim to improve the lives and livelihoods of the children and their families by (1) providing bursaries to motivated girls to attend quality education in selected primary and secondary boarding schools as well as follow up education to maximize their future job opportunities, (2) setting up community Safe Centers to provide academic and life skills enhancement, and (3) supporting communities through livelihood improvements.

Activities & Projects

1. School Sponsorships

The School program creates opportunities for children to attend school. We pay for the school fees and provide the required resources (e.g., uniforms, school materials, food, transportation). This support covers elementary and secondary boarding schools, as well as further education (vocational education and university).

2. Community Safe Centers

At our Safe Centers, we provide extra support to children who are not in the School Sponsorship program by offering extra lessons in basic subjects (like math, language) as well as life skills (like personal development, resilience). The children from the school sponsorship program also visit the Safe center during their vacations. This initiative is ran with a lot of support from parents and other community members

3. Livelihood Improvements

In 2024, a third activity was added to the program in close cooperation with our partners of the Dutch Foundation 100WEEKS. Through this activity we support families to get out of poverty by helping them build and develop new businesses during a period of 100 weeks.
